關于中年女性的婚姻與獨立撐死只夠6集的戲碼，拉拉雜雜如果只是松隆子哼唱各種動漫歌曲這樣的橋段，那也是非常可愛和加分的（暴露年齡）。但最后一集里忽然加了一段因為得罪了以培養主婦為名將女兒當傭人使喚的女兒男友而買好吃的登門道歉的戲，一下子戳穿了本劇本質上只是中年男人對女性處境的美好幻想，看似所謂的獨立生活、當社長、重新戀愛甚至主動放棄不合適的戀人全部都是泡影，事實上婚姻失敗沒有成為賢妻良母的女性在父權制下就是需要道歉的。也許《四重奏》里最后走向婚姻的人們也難免一地雞毛，但是至少留下了充足的想象空間，而這里連制造幻境的誠意都沒有了，或者說男性化的自以為是的浪漫就是普遍真理吧。
